Match Report
For the second successive time we inflicted a sound thrashing to Earlswood — a team we have struggled to beat in the past. On a pitch that was a little damp and green Earlswood put their collective feet firmly on the self-destruct pedal. As soon as Danglers had removed an opener with a shooter, the oppositions mind-set appeared to be that they had to play shots, because of the nature of the pitch. This resulted in nine out of ten batsmen being clean bowled attempting agricultural hoicks.
Simon benefited the most from bowling a good line, returning 4-6, while Danglers had his best day of the season with the ball. Crusaders showed there were no devils in the pitch, with Chand and Ralph easing us to a comfortable victory.
