Match Report
Crusaders recorded a comfortable victory from their first visit to the picturesque Netherne Village. Chand was the mainstay of a forty over total of 189, scoring a maiden fifty for the club. He was ably supported by Alan (against his former club) and the majority of the rest of the order. Chand then did his best to ensure there would be no repeat of this fixture by baiting the opposition batsmen for the duration of their reply. His continual reference to the 'good line' of our bowlers provoked the usually mild-mannered John Hartman to threaten physical violence. To rub salt into some very open wounds Chand picked up three wickets.
