Match Report

For a game that has become un-necessarily embroiled in needle, Crusaders could not have wished for such a comprehensive victory. From the moment Richard was tossed the new ball, in front of his watching folks, (possibly the only piece of inspirational skippering of Moysey's season) we took complete control of the Islanders. Only an explosive middle order innings from O'Donoghue carried Minster's total through three figures, as Chand and Spud backed up The Oz's 3-18, with two wickets apiece. All around are fielding and general out cricket were on a plateau that has probably not been seen since the old days of Midweek Cricket. When you felt it couldn't get any better Alan and Wajih put the seal on the day with an unbroken 118 to pass the target without loss. Al was in imperious form, lofting the 'gobby-grunter' for two glorious sixes. Minster was magnanimous in defeat - they couldn't do much else - and we stayed and gloated
