Match Report
On a beautiful sunny afternoon in rural Kent, Crusaders capitulated against a modest Hunton side. After battling with the Ordnance Survey map we eventually arrived at a very pleasant setting; just a shame we couldn’t make better use of it. A generally poor batting display was punctuated by awful shots from Darkie, Danglers and Spud and despite two wickets apiece for Jim, Darren and Spud, Hunton made full use of the extra time and overs we had gifted to knock of the 75 required runs; the fact that the runs took 45.1 overs to accumulate is perhaps testament to how much better our bowling was.
