Match Report
Rock bottom
Yet again we managed to find a ploughed field on which to play Centaurs and although we bowled reasonably well, in restricting them to 145, we had no answer to a barrage of short pitched bowling. Martin, Moyse and Whale all performed well with the ball, but only Darkie was able to reach double figures as we succumbed to our lowest score since the Shooters Hill debacle. It was also a case of what might have been. Had Andy not been felled by a vicious bumper and been forced to leave the field, who knows whether his gritty never say die attitude might not have won the day for us.
