Match Report
Crusaders -v- Northdowns at Poverest 8 Jul
Our biggest total of the season was achieved against a weak attack on a good strip at Poverest. On a day when all except Gordon got amongst the runs, the mainstays were Timms 51 and Moyse 84, quite correctly given out LBW for boring the umpire with a succession of tedious strokes. Northdowns were never in the hunt and there was an even share of the wickets as the skip used the entire repertoire of available bowlers in dismissing the oppo for 161.
